Wedding Centerpieces
Bored with the traditional floral wedding centrepieces? Want to do something different? Here are some fun and creative ideas you can try …
Have you thought about using some bright and colorful candies like jelly beans, sugared almonds or M & Ms? Pop into your local hobby store and buy some inexpensive glass bowls and fill them with assorted candies. Simple, easy to do and sure to be enjoyed by your guests!
Balloons are perfect as wedding centerpieces for a fun-loving couple or a casual reception where you want to create a happy, festive atmosphere.
There are a staggering variety of colors to choose from which makes it is easy to co-ordinate them with any color scheme. Weigh down the balloons with small foil-wrapped parcels of sugared almonds using a pretty matching ribbon and voila! An attractive centrepiece that’s bound to be a hit with your younger guests!
A photo-cube makes a great inexpensive table decoration. You can include assorted pictures of yourselves as a couple or even put pictures into the cube of the guests (sitting on each table) – they’ll make a wonderful memento of the occasion.
Candles are always a popular table decoration. You can use lots of candles that are the same size, shape and color all arranged in a uniform pattern to produce a harmonized, beautiful and elegant decoration. Or why not have eclectic wedding centrepieces and use arrangements of different candles in assorted colors, sizes and shapes.
